Teaser
In Shower of Terror, the contestant never knows how close they are to failure.
Before the challenge begins they answer five True or False questions to earn hidden extra lives — but the number is never revealed. Then they step forward, take hold of the metal loop, and begin the slow journey along the buzzwire stretched across the front of the tank.
Every touch of the wire triggers the alarm. Every mistake might be survivable… or it might be the last one.
Because the moment their final life disappears, the tank answers instantly — unleashing a freezing shower from above.
Rules
- Earn your hidden lives. Before approaching the tank, the contestant answers five True or False questions. Each correct answer earns an extra life — but the total is never revealed.
- Take position at the wire. The contestant must guide a metal loop along the buzzwire track mounted across the front of the gunge tank.
- Avoid the alarm. Each time the loop touches the wire, the alarm sounds and one hidden life is lost.
- Return and try again. After every life lost the contestant must return to the start of the track and continue the challenge.
- Fear the unknown total. Because the contestant never knows how many lives remain, every buzz could be the final mistake.
- Trigger the shower. The moment the contestant loses their last life, the tank releases immediately, unleashing a freezing overhead drenching.
- Reach the end to escape. If the contestant completes the track before their lives run out, they escape the tank and win the challenge.
